Cleanliness, breakfast, bar. Even though I requested a quieter room for the week, I received one facing the street with very heavy traffic.

“I’m coming back”

The location was great, close to Atocha for trains, and there was a bus stop right outside. El Prado, Reina Sofia and El Retiro were within walking distance. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I liked the separation in the room between the bathroom, dressing area and the main space. Just to mention, the closet was a little small.

The room was quite large and in excellent condition. Breakfast was very well assorted and of high quality, full of local products. The location was perfect for visiting the Prado or moving around the city, since the hotel is very close to the metro and served by many buses. I also appreciated the presence of a fitness room that was sufficiently equipped with a multi‑use machine and a set of weights. The reception staff were very friendly and allowed me to take possession of the room a couple of hours early compared to the scheduled time because I arrived on a very early morning flight. It was a pity that the entrance was under renovation during my stay and therefore did not look like the photos: it was very beautiful in the pictures and I would have liked to take at least a selfie, but I am sure that guests who come after me will enjoy an improved setting – and in any case I did not experience any inconvenience from these works.
