“Perfekt mit einem kleinen Mangel”
The spot is right on the village edge, so everything in Cahuita is within walking distance yet still surrounded by nature. The terrace, however, is missing a fan or at least a power outlet so you can move the mobile from inside to outside, and the mosquitoes become annoying jungle residents in the evenings.
The location is good, the garden is nice, and the cabins feel rustic, but the bed was uncomfortable with a sagging mattress, mosquito nets on the windows would keep unwanted guests away, breakfast isn’t offered, and the basic cabin facilities make the price feel high for the value.
The setting is surrounded by greenery, monkeys in the neighborhood, and even a crocodile in a small stream by the lodge.

The location is good. The room wasn’t level and the floor was slanted. The shower’s cleanliness was lacking, with sand and a dead crab found, and the bed was not very comfortable.
