Hotel Can Riera

The staff were very friendly and the location is great, but prices have risen in the past year and the breakfast has declined since my last visit. For instance, there is no decaf coffee from the machine and the variety was larger before; now it’s acceptable but a bit tight.

“nicht so gut, wie die Bewertungen erwarten ließen”

The place is very quiet and the property itself has potential. The terraces offer great views and the room was also nice, with a large bathroom featuring a whirlpool bathtub. Breakfast tasted good, though not as large as the reviews suggested. The pool was green and remained uncleaned throughout the 9 days we stayed. Overall, we felt the house, especially the garden/terrace, lacked care and love. Cups sat on the outdoor table for several days before being cleared, and after the rain the outdoor couch wasn’t cleaned either. In our bathroom, the shower door was broken and there was mold in the shower (understandable, since the room is hard to ventilate). For the price, we expected a bit more.

“Wunderbar”

The location was great, and the morning view from the window is a dream. Unfortunately, the breakfast was no longer refilled on the first day at 09:15, even though breakfast was scheduled from 8-10. Also, you should know that the bathroom and toilet are in the same room, not separate.

“Bien pero podría mejorar”

The location was fine, but the bathtub was broken and the shower alcove had no reception to report it.
