The historic setting, tree-lined location, Art‑deco villa, pool, and view were all great, yet the dinner seating and/or the small dinner chairs and tables were uncomfortable; despite that, we won’t let it stop us from returning.

The old‑world charm of the villa, the garden with the flamboyant tree, the pool overlooking Fort de France were lovely, yet the room was dark, the internet connection weak, and the high chairs on the terrace dining area were uncomfortable for lunch.

The room’s interior scent was a masterclass, but there was dust under the bed.
