Catherine greeted us warmly, then gave us space to enjoy our two nights.
The cottage looked really cute, and the bed linen felt soft and fresh.
Breakfast was very good. Just the right number of options and very flavourful.
It’s also right near cafés, restaurants, Woolies and bottle shops, so everything was within walking distance.

“Romantic cottage hideaway”
The cottage looked really cute, and the bed linen felt soft and fresh. Breakfast was tasty and the under‑floor heating in the bathroom was a nice touch. Unfortunately the central heating couldn’t keep the living area as warm as I’d hoped, so it felt a bit drafty at times.
The folks there were really welcoming, and the whole spot felt cozy and home‑like. It was exactly the kind of relaxed vibe I was after.
“The homemade muesli, preserves and jams for breakfast made our little cottage feel like home”
The little cottage was just right for a quick escape with my mum – comfortable, private and exactly the kind of simple getaway we wanted.
“OMG this is where you need to stay for Huon Valley & Bruny Island for a few nights”
If you’re heading to the Huon Valley, this place should be your first stop – the cottage itself was spot‑on and Catherine greeted us warmly, then gave us space to enjoy our two nights. Breakfast was a proper treat with muesli, yogurt, homemade berries, toast and jams, and the electric blankets kept us comfy while the AC managed the heat. It’s also right near cafés, restaurants, Woolies and bottle shops, so everything was within walking distance.
“A delightful cottage in a perfect position for a few days stay”
This cottage had everything we needed – solid facilities, a solid breakfast and enough supplies to get us through our stay. The real surprise was the gin distillery next door; I ended up ordering three bottles to be shipped home. We’ll definitely book again when we’re back in Huonville.
