The staff at both the reception and the restaurant were very accommodating. The only problem was the noise from the adjacent room.

Everything was perfect.

We had a terrace and the bed was spacious, but it was extremely hard, just like the pillow, and we could hear everything from the other rooms; the facilities felt old.

The location was good, but the sheets had stains.

The location in town was great, and the swimming pool was a big plus, though I’m not sure I could actually use it; the garden was nicely maintained, and having a balcony with a table and chair overlooking the pool was fantastic—quiet enough to sit there until dark during my stay. The price I paid out of season was good value. I didn’t like the plastic sheeting directly under the cotton sheet on the mattress, which made me sweat where it touched. The toilet had an unpleasant odor. The hotel used to be more upscale with plush fixtures and fittings, but those are now somewhat past their best.
