The food was excellent and the décor far surpassed the average of Romanian hotels, even when compared only to four‑star properties. I appreciated the focus on natural materials and high‑quality design. Finding such architectural and interior design standards in Braila was completely unexpected; the city has a fantastic architectural potential. Service matched the quality, with staff showing a great blend of human warmth and professionalism. The breakfast buffet, though modest in size, was very good and complete. The standard rooms were small, but not so small as to be uncomfortable.
