Everything! The only drawback was that it’s a bit of a walk from the nearest bus stop, but I don’t mind given what this place offers.

“Very enjoyable stay at a traditional Japanese inn”

The breakfast featured traditional Japanese dishes that were delicious, and the staff were friendly, polite, and welcoming; the roof access gave a lovely view over the city, and it was peaceful to sit there in the balmy night air. However, the building was a bit hard to locate—our taxi dropped us off at dusk and we had no clue which building was correct, so better signage would help; plus the water in the shower never got hot, forcing us to skip showers.
