It looks stunning from the outside and is kept in good condition, but the interior is modern.

Breakfast was excellent, and the location is nice and quiet. Nothing else I can think of.

“Comfortable stopover in Cumbria”

The hostess was super friendly and the breakfast excellent; the bed was comfortable, the room spacious, and the setting quiet with great parking. The only downside was that it was a bit remote from restaurants and bars, so you’d have to drive.

Lovely location, for a quick stop off at the Lake District on route to Scotland. Really friendly and helpful, allowed us to check in early. Highly recommend
