This isn’t a run‑of‑the‑mill place; the interior is interesting, the garden is great, and the bed was very comfortable. The metro to Amsterdam and the bus to Weesp are easily reachable. The breakfast was very one‑sided, the room smelled like a cellar, and the price was quite high for what was offered.

The location is prime and the building is a nice old structure that hosts the B&B. It’s great that the old details have been preserved. Everything was actually fine, but if I had to point out something, it’s that for my breakfast I missed pasta, peanut butter, or hagelslag. There was only cheese and sausage, which is the only complaint.

I really enjoyed the surroundings, being close to the city center by metro and near the Reggae Lake festival, but the room lacked air conditioning and a mini fridge, and the breakfast was very basic.

The Bali suite was cute and the spot was fine, just next to a park giving a countryside vibe yet only a metro ride from Amsterdam; the owner or manager replied quickly to messages but wasn’t on the premises. The room itself was clean and cute, yet the outside looked a bit neglected with overgrown grass and some junk—old furniture pieces—accumulating in the back. Breakfast was included but meager: just bread, boiled eggs, sliced meats and cheese, jam, no fruits, veggies, vegetarian options, or variety, and no staff to help. The coffee machine wasn’t maintained, though it was hopefully fixed after we messaged the owner/manager. We ended up grabbing coffee and a proper breakfast elsewhere.
