Rooms feature air conditioning, hairdryers, 42-inch TVs, and direct dial phones. Parklake Bar & Restaurant offers alfresco dining overlooking parklands and Lake Victoria. Local wineries and Shepparton Art Gallery are nearby.

The rooms were roomy and practical, with a decent desk and chair, a comfortable bed, and onsite parking. The linen was fresh and clean, but the overall appearance suffered from a lack of detail in cleaning—skirting boards, bathroom floor corners, especially around the toilet were neglected, and I had to wipe out all the dusty drawers I used. The wifi had no internet connection for half of my 6‑night stay, so I relied on my phone plan and didn’t bother to ask staff.

I stayed in a spotless, fully equipped room and the staff were friendly and professional, the location was convenient and the on‑site restaurant was delicious.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful, the spa was lovely, the location was excellent and it was a 5‑minute walk to the Archibald exhibition.
