Most things were fine. The bed was rough; I don’t think I’ve slept on a harder hotel bed before.

The rooms were unbearably hot without AC. A small fan was there but did little. I had to keep the window open at night because of the heat, but the room faced the road and was extremely noisy with cars revving on the straight stretch that began there, and even EPA tractors added to the disturbance, making it hard to enjoy our stay amid the heat.

The breakfast selection was poor even though it was peak season; items ran out and weren’t restocked. There was no air conditioning in the room.

The room was nice and the breakfast felt homey—thanks! But you need to do something about the sk. Varuhissen! We were two frazzled old people, one of us on a walker and unable to use stairs. The lovely staff helped us and we’d love to come back.
