“Clean comfortable hotel”

We booked a double inland room and liked its good location right opposite the sea; the staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was big and comfortable, though the car park was very small and the shower wasn’t the best, it was hot.

“Perfect overnight stay in a delightful little town”

The location and parking were convenient, and the reception staff were very helpful. However, we arrived at breakfast at 8.30 and nobody took our order for 30 minutes, even though other guests were served before us; no drink was offered until we had been there 35 minutes. The staff serving breakfast interacted very little and rarely smiled. We are friendly people who rarely complain. The bedroom was too hot and we couldn’t turn off the bathroom radiator.

“Excellent bed and breakfast stay in Aldeburgh”

The bed was very comfortable and the room, bathroom, etc. were good; the sea‑front location and excellent breakfast stood out, and the staff were friendly, efficient and professional. We also had lunch there, which was very nice and the wine selection was good. The interior felt dated and the exterior could use a paint job, but otherwise there were no complaints.
