The breakfast at the hotel across the street was pricey but acceptable, while the location on a busy street made the stay a bit noisy, though tolerable for just one night.

The room is top. It is close to the excellent gastronomy (Jägerhof👍). Everything is perfect.

We already know this hotel as a regular stop on our vacation route and would gladly return; it offers excellent value for the amenities, free parking right next door which was a lifesaver with our luggage, a ground‑floor room that was functional, very pleasant and comfortable with power sockets on both sides of the bed, spotless cleanliness including linens, and a small but practical bathroom with a well‑designed shower that delivered good flow. The downsides were: arriving at 21:30 the digital key box outside wouldn’t accept the code emailed earlier, so after several failed tries we called the very helpful manager who quickly sent a local staff member to open the box and hand us the key to room 2; at night the room stayed too bright because the sliding door’s curtain didn’t reach the rail, a blue‑light night‑lamp sat near the bed, and the automatic blind on the right‑hand window wasn’t fully opaque, letting in moonlight and street lamps—though a travel mask let us sleep; finally, the single trash bin in the bathroom felt too small and a larger one in the room would be useful.

The location was perfect for us and our dogs. We rode the Römer Lippe Tour on bikes with two dogs; the hotel was right on the bike path and we could let the dogs run in the adjacent forest. The bikes were safely stored in the shed. Breakfast across the street was very good, and the accommodation was super clean.
