We stayed at Lani’s Suites de Luxe for our honeymoon, and it genuinely could not have been a more perfect place to celebrate such a special occasion. Lani’s is quite simply an oasis in the heart of Puerto del Carmen. The moment you walk inside, you seem to leave the busy resort behind and enter a peaceful little paradise. Beautiful white suites are surrounded by lush green gardens and tropical plants, with the Atlantic Ocean and beach right on the doorstep. Everything about the hotel feels special. The pool area is immaculate and wonderfully relaxing, the suites are spotless and luxurious, and the sea views are absolutely stunning. Sitting overlooking the ocean with a drink or enjoying breakfast by the sea made our honeymoon feel even more memorable. The food was exceptional throughout our stay — breakfast, lunch and dinner were beautifully presented, delicious and made with top-quality ingredients. The beachfront setting makes every meal feel like an occasion. But what really makes Lani’s stand out is the staff. Every single person we met was warm, friendly, professional and genuinely cared about making our stay special. Nothing was too much trouble, and the service was outstanding without ever feeling intrusive. We have stayed in some beautiful hotels, but Lani’s is different. It has a charm, atmosphere and level of service that is difficult to put into words. Five nights simply weren’t enough. For a honeymoon, romantic break or simply somewhere to completely relax, we honestly cannot recommend it highly enough.
