Anchorage Beach Resort Caye Caulker

Delroy, the property manager, checked on me every day to see what he could do to improve my stay. Everything was great from the room to the location, views, beds, staff, beach, dock was just super. Safety was a concern I had until I got there, and everyone was so friendly night or day you feel at home. I almost forgot, the island of Caye Caulker was just as beautiful and fun as the pictures, thank you JOHN KEEFE from USA. Nothing but leaving lol.

“Not cool, not a Resort”

The staff were friendly, but the beaches were covered in sargassum, the rooms were not very modern, and the facilities look better in the photos.

I was standing right in front of the beach, but the side of the island hit me more with sargassum algae. The place was just let go and shabby.

The hotel is awesome! Coffee, tea, and water are free from 8:00 to 17:00. It has its own pier and loungers right by the sea. Rooms come with balconies overlooking the ocean. The location is perfect – a walk from the harbor, close to bars and shops, yet away from city noise, and most importantly, far from the constant smell of rotting seaweed on the island. It could use a bit of refreshing, but not too much.
