“Alojamiento muy cerca”

The hotel is very central. There's a small shop below that serves food, and when we approached the entrance they gave us access and showed us the room. We had to park about 800 m away because roadworks on a central street prevented us from driving up to the hotel to move our luggage. Luckily, a free municipal parking lot in front of a fire station let us leave the car and carry the bags from there. The nighttime atmosphere was very calm and pleasant, and even with many tourists it felt “lively.” I didn’t see the usual hotel or apartment towers that are missing in that town. We even caught a nice concert nearby. The room maintenance in Portugal could be better, but it’s not enough to write a bad review, of course.

Another great stay at Aguarela Tavira. The location in central Tavira is excellent, simple but clean and tidy with everything needed for a relaxed holiday. We liked everything. Maybe the Wi‑Fi signal could be improved, but that doesn’t change my recommendation or my intention to return.

The property enjoys a great spot in the historic center. The kitchen is dirty; we found coffee‑stained mugs and utensils with food residue that hadn’t been cleaned for a while. The sink was filthy and there were spider webs on the chairs. The room was stuffy. A portable air‑conditioner was very noisy. The bathroom had a strong damp smell. The price does not match the services offered.

“Consigliatissimo”

The room was spacious, the internal patio was nice for eating, and the terrace offered an exceptional view of the text.
