There are plenty of spots to cook and store food in the very large kitchen area. The space feels very warm and inviting.

“I was initially very disappointed in the facility. Cleanliness & staff excellent”

The staff were professional and the place was clean. However, there was no hot water and no AC (only a fan was provided). The proximity to Main Street/highway meant car fumes drifted into the room when traffic got busy.

The property is interesting because it’s somewhat hidden on the main road at the entrance to Mazunte. It has a jungle atmosphere with plenty of greenery and feels quite private. The owner is very kind to guests and works hard to maintain comfort. There’s an inexpensive convenient store next door. I’m not blaming Casa Del Angel at all, but it’s not always quiet at night because of traffic and dogs. The drumming I could hear actually helped me fall asleep. You’ll have to walk into town to find the beach, market, turtle sanctuary, etc., but they’re all within walking distance. I had hoped the pool would work better. Also, somehow my shoes disappeared.

I booked six rooms and unfortunately someone stole the money that was left in one of them. The money was stolen.
