The room itself was great.

The spot was fine, nothing special about it. I had booked 15 nights but by day 11 the place turned into a nightmare – two consecutive nights of nonstop noise kept me up, and when I complained the landlord basically told me I should have reported it every single time. I got fed up, moved out early and asked for a refund for the last three days, but she stopped replying altogether.

The building sits in a safe part of town, which was reassuring. The back door is a glass panel with a keypad, but I never felt completely comfortable using it – it felt a bit flimsy despite the code. Overall, though, everything else worked fine.

The bed was surprisingly comfy and the location couldn't be more convenient. Unfortunately the constant clatter from a dryer and the door slamming every night meant I lost a lot of sleep.
