The location is pretty great, perched on top of a hill with a view of the Rhine.
The breakfast was really good, lots of options.
The view from here is just amazing, and the breakfast is top class.

“Goed voor een tussenstop.”
Prachtig uitzicht. Prima ontbijt. Het zou fijn zijn als er 2 glazen of bekers in de kamer waren
“Wir kommen bestimmt noch zurück.”
Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, the location offers interesting hiking and cycling routes, and the hotel’s amenities are cozy; the staff were very friendly and helpful, so I would definitely recommend it. The only drawbacks were the lack of a fridge and kettle, and there isn’t a proper bike room for e‑bikes.
“Eines der minderwertigsten Hotels was ich in den letzten Jahren besucht habe”
The location is nice, but the breakfast is below average, dinner closes at 19:30, the rooms are unfamiliar, the carpets are spotty, the staff speak poor German, and I think there are better youth hostels.
“Gute Lage zum Wandern”
The setting in the forest with a view of Königswinter and the Rhine is beautiful, and the breakfast was very good, but the facilities are very basic.
“Good choice for an overnight stopover”
My room was very clean and the balcony offered a lovely view over the far bank of the Rhine and beyond; the furnishings were functional rather than luxurious. The restaurant served a buffet‑style evening meal at a fixed price that you could revisit as often as you liked, and breakfast was the typical German hotel buffet with a very good selection. For an overnight stop before heading south after a late afternoon arrival at Cologne Airport, it was more than adequate. However, the main parking area is behind the main building where the reception is located; it’s not obvious because the only sign you see is a “P” pointing right that leads to the overflow car park up a short but very steep lane. You actually need to turn left and drive around behind the main building. There are about 10 spaces there, but even if they’re all taken, you can leave your car while you check in. The last junction in town where you join the narrow road that takes you up to the hotel is not at all obvious; have a good sat‑nav or map! (There is a small sign saying JUFA Hotel.)
