Fairfield by Marriott Youngstown/Austintown

“Clean, convenient, friendly staff”

The location is right off the interstate, super clean, and the staff were friendly—perfect for a quick overnight stop.

“Provide bigger beds and good breakfast options.”

The location and management team were good, but the beds are very small even though they’re labeled queen, and there were no waffles for breakfast; I only learned waffles were offered on weekends, which seemed odd.

“Excellent evening/overnight staff facilities need some looking after”

The staff were kind and attentive even while dealing with electrical problems, but the bedding was dusty and the bathtub had hair at the bottom.

“Staying was not an option I felt unsafe”

I never actually stayed there because a questionable group program was happening, and I felt unsafe due to the people they were housing on the property.

Staying at a Fairfield usually means you can expect consistency—my expectations were met.
