The goal of my trip was to spend two nights in the hostel, riding my motorcycle during the day and just sleeping there. I wasn’t looking for anything extra, yet this hostel pleasantly surprised me. The rooms are older but clean and pleasant, and the staff are very friendly. The hostel has a beautiful, large area, a beach with lake access, and parking. The location is absolutely great in a quiet area and within walking distance to the center of Velden. I’ll definitely come back.

A fantastic spot for a lakeside family holiday – plenty of space, solid facilities for kids, and Velden is just a short walk away.

Breakfast was excellent, check‑in was really flexible, and the room was surprisingly roomy.
