The breakfast was good, but the environment was only acceptable because the door before the reception is always open and lacks security, and the staff should at least serve two welcome bottles of water to guests, which they did not.

“Great stay all round!”

When visiting family in Birmingham, my son and I always stay here; the room, facilities, and location are great, and the reception staff were very understanding toward my son’s complex needs, offering us V.I.K. drinks—thank you, Holiday Inn. The steam room may have needed fixing at the time, but otherwise nothing.

“This hotel goes above & beyond!”

The staff at the bar/restaurant really went the extra mile, and the crispy duck salad I had was amazing! On our departure day the receptionist let us park and gave us a free coffee each because we were in Birmingham picking up a puppy, and the owner was late and needed an hour to return home. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options and good value. Our room was fully accessible, something I’d never experienced before – the bathroom was huge and there was plenty of space for my mobility stroller. The beds were comfortable and we slept soundly. We appreciated the free dog treats stand and free kiddie sweets, a thoughtful touch for pet owners and families. Thank you all for a fantastic stay!!!

“Good”

I liked the location but the cleanliness was lacking, the breakfast was mediocre, and the spa was a bit far to get to.
