Located in a contemporary atmosphere, the Mercure Poitiers Site du Futuroscope hotel is a 10-minute walk from the Futuroscope theme park and 15 minutes from the Arena. Free Wi-Fi and parking are available on site. The hotel features air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen TVs, private bathrooms, and separate toilets. La Cuisine de Marie restaurant serves local dishes, and room service is available. Meeting rooms and a sales department are also on site.

The staff were kind, but the hotel felt a bit dated and the breakfast was very basic.

We were headed to the south of Sapnje and were disappointed to find the restaurant closed for a private group, forcing us to drive again to find another nearby restaurant. The staff present seemed to be mainly for that group. Although the bar normally stayed open until 23:00, there was no staff there either. The front desk man did help us, but the information the hotel provides does not match reality.

I was close to the Futuroscope and the breakfast was excellent, plus the parking was huge—though it’s not secured.

The location was great, but the rooms felt a bit worn and the bedcover was too heavy.
