The place is in a perfect spot by the airport, and they’ll line up a taxi for you for a small fee—just tip the driver $2‑$3. No negatives.

“Decent, Reasonable and close to airport”

This is a basic hotel near Quito airport. We booked transport from the airport to the hotel and from this hotel to our next one through the app at a reasonable rate. A continental breakfast was included in our booking, with extra options for an extra cost. I’d stay again if I need a reasonably priced hotel close to Quito airport. The only downside was that, although there was a small restaurant with good food a few steps away, there seemed to be no other consumer businesses near the hotel.

“Hotel Alpachaca is an ideal place to stay overnight between flights at the Quito Airport.”

The staff were kind and friendly, there was an on‑site cat named Guardia, and two or three charming dogs, plenty of space everywhere, hammocks, patios, and large rooms. Perhaps it’s time to update the breakfast menu. The posters in the hotel show 4 or 5 different breakfast types, and I spent about 10 minutes weighing the pros and cons of each before finally picking my favourite, only to discover that in reality there is just one option and you have no choice. It was tasty, but what happened to all the other options?
