We stayed in a 1st‑floor apartment that had a washing machine and bed linens – something you don’t usually get in Denmark – and the nearby forest is just a short walk from the tunnel under the highway, plus parking in the courtyard.

There was no Wi‑Fi or TV, and the place clearly needs repairs and an upgrade.

The room smelled damp and the interior was a mess: the kitchen table was covered in crumbs, the living room had scattered rugs and pillows, the bathroom was not cleaned, the beds were unmade, and the bedroom was cluttered – it was a truly dreadful experience.

The staff were friendly, but the room had a mouldy odor, especially on the pillows and beds.
