What I liked most was the location and the cleanliness. For the price it was a very basic room—excessively basic. The mattresses were soft and hot in the summer. It had only the essentials. We were just staying one night from Madrid to try the restaurant Raíces, and because it was a holiday in Talavera de la Reina there weren’t many other options, so I understand the price. There was a lot of street noise.

The issue was that we stopped at 10:30 to continue our trip at 6:00 am, but nowhere was it mentioned that there were local festivities and we had an orchestra right in front of us; the walls reverberated and the orchestra didn’t stop until 4:00 am.
