The property’s location is close to the beach, the rooms are cleaned with good hygiene, and the owner is very helpful.
Everything was great – price and quality matched, and we were close to shops and the sea. The only issue was the pillows, which were a bit too large and uncomfortable. Otherwise, the room had everything we needed, the cleaning came when we wanted, and the terrace was a real pleasure to sit on. The fridge and stove worked, and my daughter didn’t eat local food, so we had to cook and buy groceries; the fridge even had ice trays. We’re not picky and liked everything, but we understand this is India and things are like that everywhere. Two weeks of pure enjoyment!
Ground‑floor accommodation on the street, no air‑conditioning. The pluses: calmness and location, plus the rooftop. The minuses: dirty kitchen, worn‑out foam mattresses that were so thin the foam fell apart, and the place was quite dark; the walls, equipment, and furniture all needed a major refresh.
“Serene tranquil replete”
The studio is spacious, with a desk, bed, balcony, AC, and a fully functional open kitchen, and it’s quiet once you find it, though it’s a bit hard to locate. The only downside is the lack of a power backup, so when the electricity fails, wifi goes down too, which can be problematic. Also, the studio sits on the second floor of a building with no lift, so if you’re infirmed you’ll have to walk up two floors.
“Excellent and comfortable stay”
The staff and owner were very helpful, and the room was very spacious. The price was reasonable, and the location is close to Candolim beach. Getting to the property was a little inconvenient, but the owner and staff guided us well.
