“A refaire sans hésiter”

Un petit havre de paix paradisiaque, au milieu de rien, aux pieds des montagnes, une parenthèse qui fait du bien. Une cuisine excellente, une cave à vin qui donne envie . bref nous avons été plus qu’enchantés de découvrir cet endroit ! Une classe sans chichi, un art de vivre autour de la table et du "prendre le temps". 2 nuits c’etaient trop court!. Les 35 derniers km de route, mais un moment hors du temps comme celui-ci, ça se mérite !

We had a wonderful stay at the River Run self catering cottage. Tranquil, remote, in nature, and beautiful views (albeit the bad weather). The food was great! Close to Highmoor National Park for hiking etc. We would highly recommend to anyone who wants a quiet stay in nature. The road to the accommodation is terrible, with more pot holes then tar road (although we know this is not the accommodation's fault). If you are self catering, make sure you buy your food in town - it is a long distance to town along that terrible road if you forget anything

Prachtig gelegen! (maar de weg er naartoe is niet simpel) Gezellig ingerichte kamers, zithoeken. Dinner en ontbijd!. Het dinner verliep nogal stijfjes. Heel lekker eten maar het concept is misschien wat gedateerd

“Would love to go back, my favourite stay in South Africa”

The location was amazing, the property awesome, the food fantastic, and the staff very friendly; I loved it and would recommend it to anyone. No negatives, it was amazing.
