When we arrived, the host’s father greeted us in a rude and arrogant manner, insisting that the structure wasn’t correct and that we had to leave because it was private property. The host’s wife then told us she couldn’t accommodate us due to health issues, that her computer had broken, and that she had informed Booking. I was disappointed with Booking’s response, which offered a place far from where I was, turning my short vacation into an ordeal. I hope the hosts are held accountable. I travel a lot with Booking, but this was the first time I’ve encountered such a situation with a host. I’ll think carefully before booking my next trip.
