“Pasqua sotto la dama verde”
The location was great, tucked into the forest, and the morning wake‑up was spectacular. The sunrise light through the trees was worth the money spent. From about 22:00 all external lights are turned off, which is good for reducing light pollution but a bit inconvenient for late‑night arrivals; we had to use our phone flashlights.
“Cortesia dello staff e glass cabin con vista sul cielo stellato e se fortunati anche aurora boreale”
I appreciated the staff’s courtesy and the glass cabin that offered a star‑filled sky view, and if we were lucky we could even see the aurora borealis.
“Loistava paikka rauhallista paikkaa hakeville.”
The panoramic windows made it a pleasure to watch the stars and the aurora from my bed, the bed itself was superb, and the staff were friendly and efficient; breakfast was adequate, though a bit basic, and could have included more fresh fruit. The Wi‑Fi in the rooms was weak, and the hotel’s remote location meant I had to travel by my own car or a rental.
“Nice experience”
The igloo was a glass house. The sauna and breakfast were expensive.
“Polarlichter aus dem Bett”
The huts are located in the middle of the forest, which is a dream. Seeing the Northern Lights from bed at night was indescribable. The furnishings are relatively new, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Because we left early, they brought us breakfast the night before to our room. The sauna, whirlpool, and ice hole in the lake are very private, so the spa feels exclusive. Even in early April we still had enough snow for the full experience. You pay clearly for the night under the glass roof; the rest of the huts are rather sparsely furnished and there is no proper wardrobe for storing your stuff. The breakfast is nothing special for the price. Unfortunately, it takes a long time for the small portions at the buffet to be refilled. You only get 15 minutes of hot water per hour in the huts. The Wi‑Fi does not work in the restaurant or in the huts.
