The place was perfectly renovated, super clean, and the location was fantastic! Make Vagabond your next SLO stay… 6 minutes from town down Fremont Theater, about a block from The Madonna Inn! Loved my stay!!! Nothing was wrong; I didn’t find anything I didn’t love about choosing The Vagabond for my SLO stay. Thank you so much—this property is worth it!

The place is right in the middle of all the mid‑California spots, so a car is a must; it’s a breeze to hit 101 and 1. Nothing else to complain about.

The staff were friendly, the rooms were spotless, the floors were high, there’s plenty of parking, and it’s very quiet.
