Close to the sights, but noisy and a shopping area.

The staff were very welcoming, we checked in early, they arranged a great transfer, the place is clean and well maintained, and the location is excellent. The hotel is a bit worn and needs some repairs. The fridge in the room worked but didn’t keep things cold 😅 The breakfast wasn’t very varied.

The beds were comfy and the manager was friendly, and we appreciated the constant water supply. The dining area offered a beautiful view, and the tea was good and always available. The ladies cleaned every day, though the serving staff could have been friendlier and quicker—on the first day it took a long time to clear our dirty dishes. The food was average to below average, with a lack of variety and an awful juice from the machine. No one showed us the pool, even though the hotel’s online ad shows one; we were sweltering and a swim would have helped. The room was plain with no decor, and the shower was slippery and dangerous. Communication was poor because English wasn’t known, but overall it was acceptable by their standards.

The location was good—close to the train stop and central spots in Istanbul—and the staff were really nice and friendly. If a few things were improved, it could be a much better experience. The hotel isn’t bad, but the photos on Booking didn’t match reality: there was no pool, even though it’s shown in the pictures, and the air conditioning wasn’t working during my stay. Also, the noise from the breakfast area in the mornings was quite loud and made it hard to rest.
