“Highly recommend.”
The breakfast was amazing and the bed was very cozy.
“スリランカに来てよかったなと思わせてくれるようなホスピタリティです!”
The owner was extremely kind, and at this price it feels almost too cheap to be true!
We loved it here! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and Dilan was a great host. The food he prepared for us was insanely good, and the location is right along the Pekoe Trail (following the trail to Demodara is a must‑do if you ask me), within walking distance of both Little Adam’s Peak and the Nine‑Arch Bridge (if you keep following the Pekoe Trail after the bridge it will bring you directly to Ella). The balcony faces straight into the valley, and there are plenty of cool birds and other animals around. Thank you, Dilan, for making our stay in Ella unforgettable!
“老闆熱情好客,住得很舒服”
I stayed here for three nights and the owner told me I was his first Chinese guest. He was very nice and fresh fruit was provided daily. The room was huge, the bed comfortable, and there was a hot shower. During the day, peacocks and monkeys were right outside the entrance. I didn’t want to leave. The town was a bit far, but walking to Little Adam’s Peak and the Nine‑Arch Bridge was doable, making the price very good. The owner’s cooking was also tasty, and I ate both breakfast and dinner here. The only issue was that I shouldn’t drink tea; after drinking too much on the first night, I had a stomach upset and couldn’t sleep. Switching to bottled water solved it. The owner offered a shuttle service, which was far better than the local tuk‑tuk scams. When I left for Galle, he even helped book a bus seat. This place is so good that I recommend everyone stay here. The downside is mosquitoes, but there’s a large mosquito net, so it’s not a big problem. On sunny days, the room only had a fan, so it got very hot and you couldn’t stay indoors.

I had a wonderful stay and felt genuinely welcomed from the moment I arrived. What stood out most was the incredibly warm and personal hospitality. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and feels more like staying with friends than at a hotel. Everyone is thoughtful and always happy to help, ensuring you feel comfortable throughout your stay. The room was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed. The homemade food was absolutely delicious and prepared with so much care. The location is ideal for exploring the surrounding area while still being peaceful and surrounded by nature. A special thank you to Dilan for the kindness and genuine hospitality. It’s rare to find a place where you feel so well looked after. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back one day. Nothing to complain about.
