The place was clean and the staff on duty were attentive to newcomers. The cabin was surrounded by bushes. The mattresses on the bunk beds were painfully uncomfortable and far past their best‑by date. Faded pink spray paint on the footpaths didn’t help warn against trip hazards at night. The lock on the shower door was broken, and overall the vibe felt tired.

The wagon cabin had lovely décor, the bed and bedding were very comfortable, and my husband, who is very picky about beds, was satisfied.

Not much to say. The room lacked enough outlets for charging devices or boiling a jug; a lamp would have helped. The toilets were cold and old, and the maintenance seemed poor. In the morning we found ants in the room, and later we heard arguments from people in a nearby park, followed by a late‑night joke at 1 am that left us exhausted and unable to sleep.

I booked last minute for the Greytown Campground and it was a lovely stay. The bed was super comfy, and the spot is great—just a 5‑10 minute walk to Greytown’s center. The staff were all friendly and eager to help. It would be nice to have a hairdryer to borrow, but that’s just a thought.
