“Nice but overpriced due to the quality of the rooms.”
I skipped breakfast, but the spot’s proximity to the beach and the gorgeous view from the wooden huts were a highlight, and the staff were super friendly and kept me hydrated with plenty of water bottles so I didn’t have to lug heavy ones from town. The only sea‑view wooden hut rooms were pricey and not worth the cost, especially since they were old, dilapidated, and had unfinished huts beneath them; the skirting boards and bathroom fixtures were in terrible condition, letting insects and cockroaches in, and even after cleaning the rooms felt dirty, with bugs in both rooms I used—including one on my bed while I was reading. I told management, but they said nothing could be done. Power cuts were frequent and lasted for hours, and the Wi‑Fi would shut off intermittently. The second room I moved into was large but still in poor shape, with no furniture beyond a bed, bedside table, wardrobe, and suitcase holder, leaving no place for my cosmetics or hair items; I asked twice for an extra table and was ignored. Some mornings the tap water came out brown, and when I reported it I was told it was normal and would improve later that day.
