The large public bath and hot spring felt wonderful, yet the parking directions led us to a nearby lot that was confusing, and the air‑conditioning could not be adjusted.

The location was good, the room was spacious enough, and breakfast was delicious; no particular complaints.

The hotel’s location right in front of Otaru Canal was superb, and both the front desk and restaurant staff were friendly, upbeat, and very courteous. However, after returning from an outing I noticed an unpleasant smell coming from the sink and bathroom, and later that night the bathroom gave off a drain‑like odor that startled me; opening the window and running water for a while finally cleared it up.
