The staff were very friendly and sufficient, and the room was spacious, tidy and clean; you need to park at the local Cofferidge Close car park, but as a former local, this was fine.

“Good for a short-term stay. Avoid Friday or Saturday nights.”

There is an excellent bar on site providing pub grub, the accommodation was reasonably priced given the location, and the staff were friendly and helpful; the room, while small, had everything we needed for a short stay. If you're staying over a Friday or Saturday night, be prepared to listen to loud bar music until 23:30, and check‑out time is 10 am.

“Great pub but disappointed in the accommodation”

A great pub with character. Good atmosphere especially if an evening. We stayed for 2 nights in a courtyard room. The bedroom and bathroom smelt of damp. There was no shower curtain so the floor was flooded each time we showered. There was nowhere to dry towels as the towel rail didn’t work. Little hanging space and no storage space. It didn’t feel comfortable at all due particularly to the unpleasant smell of damp
