It’s a very beautiful place with a great view from the window. The Scherrer Park and the viewpoint are nearby, plus there are many cafés and restaurants in the area. We didn’t even need a taxi – a direct bus runs from Lugano’s centre, and the hotel is close to the bus stop. The city itself is also lovely, and we really enjoyed our stay.

The location is amazing and the room offers a lake view. Everything was very clean, in good condition, and finished nicely. The air conditioning worked well, the staff were super friendly, and we had a great time. The only tip for other travelers is to bring ear plugs, since Morcote stays lively late into the night.

I liked that they didn't serve breakfast, so I could skip it and save time. The only downside was the heavy car traffic outside the hotel, which made getting to the airport a hassle.
