Hotel Aneto is a value-for-money hotel in central Barcelona, near La Rambla and La Boquería market. The hotel features 24-hour reception, air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, tiled floors, and simple décor. Located near Plaza Catalunya, buses to the airport depart from here. The Palau de la Música Catalana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a 15-minute walk away.

The room was nice and the beds were reasonably comfortable. A bakery is right next door and La Rambla is close by, but the bathroom sink leaked and it was a bit noisy at night.

The location is good, but you can hear everything—if someone talks (you can hear their entire conversation), when doors close, in the bathroom, or when someone uses the toilet. Breakfast was not worth a cheer; just a croissant, half a sandwich from the nearby café, a cup of coffee, and juice. The hotel and room had a strong odor, especially after room service.

The spot is good, but the sink and bathroom door had someone’s hair stuck to them, and there’s mold on the bathroom door.
