“A Perfect Stay Near the Airport”

We picked this place because it was close to the airport, and it turned out to be better than we imagined. Esté was super friendly and helpful, and the studio was spotless with every small detail cared for. There’s an honesty box with snacks and frozen meals, which was a nice touch, and ordering food via Uber Eats was straightforward. We loved lounging in the little front garden under the sun, and the breakfast was fantastic. If I come back to Joburg, I’ll definitely stay with Esté again. Highly recommend—thanks for a great stay.

The place was clean, the owner welcoming, close to the airport and the bouillottes were a nice touch, but the studio was freezing and the tiny gas heater they gave after we arrived did nothing for the 0‑4 °C outside; after a lot of nagging they finally provided a small electric heater. Meals were cheap and low‑quality, and the hot water, while boiling, was supplied in insufficient amounts.
