The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the building was truly beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The only small flaw was that the location wasn’t central to the town.

“Un meraviglioso salto nel passato”

The apartment was stunning in a beautifully renovated rascard that offers guests warm, cozy spaces and an authentic dive into Valdostan history while still providing modern comforts. Located in a small, lower hamlet of Chamois, it lets you enjoy the silence and incredible mountain scenery. The village connects to Buisson in the valley below only by cable car, and the lack of cars in the area means you can regularly spot herds of chamois grazing near the rascard. Alberto was a friendly and helpful host, and we’d love to return for another romantic escape from everyday stress! The walk up to the village center to catch the cable car is tough, especially with luggage, but you can leave skis and boots in a locker right next to the square and the ski lift.
