The apartment feels even better inside than in the photos, the neighborhood is safe and full of small shops and bars, and the room was spotless—no complaints at all. I love everything.

We stayed in this apartment for three nights with five people. Overall the experience was adequate, but several aspects disappointed us. The location seemed quite run-down and we didn’t feel completely at ease. The apartment is in a fenced complex with a guard, which offers extra security but also highlights the surrounding context. Upon arrival we found problems: the sofa bed meant for the fifth person wasn’t set up and there were no sheets, so we had to wait for them to be provided. The cleaning was not flawless—we found sand near one bathroom, a tablecloth that was dirty and coffee‑stained, and several large ants in the bedroom. The apartment itself is fairly spacious and not particularly unpleasant, though a bit dated. The three bathrooms are convenient, but the shared one has a shower that’s almost unusable, with the showerhead positioned directly above the toilet. Hot water was barely warm and not always enough for a proper hot shower. Noise was another issue: on Sunday morning around 7:30 we were woken by a very loud religious celebration nearby, with singing and shouting that lasted for several hours. Added to that was the constant barking of a dog from apartments on the upper floor, making it hard to rest. On the bright side, Eliud, the complex guard, was always extremely kind, helpful, and friendly, and tried to assist us whenever we needed.

When we realized that this apartment, the kitchen, and the entire living room would be shared with other tenants, we decided to stay only one week. In the room there was a washing machine, but it wasn’t available to us until one day before checkout; the drawer was removed and locked. The Booking page says “fantastic” and only positive reviews with an 8.9 rating?

Everything was simply perfect—from the welcome to the well‑maintained, nicely furnished property. The place is quiet and you can reach the beach and restaurants within a few minutes’ walk, which is also convenient for those heading to Nairobi or the Masai Mara. Thanks to the staff. I liked everything.
