Lovin Book Guesthouse

The location is easy to find, simple and guided access even without reception, right in the center of everything; the bed is extremely comfortable, the room has incredible charm, perfect for a two‑person getaway… we loved the treat. We had a small issue with the hot water, it wasn’t enough to fill the tub at night, probably because other guests were using it at the same time, and the front neighbor is a bit noisy in the morning, but nothing that disrupted us; it was excellent overall.

The location is perfect as long as you don’t mind the tourist crowds strolling past the door in Óbidos, and the room was gorgeous.

The room was very pleasant and clean, with a great view, but there was a mold smell, some walls felt unusually warm making the room hot, and because it sat above a restaurant, there was noise late at night and early in the morning.

“A great location for a visit to Obidos.”

The hotel sits in a central spot and the parking and entrance directions were crystal clear; we enjoyed the complimentary wine during the eclipse. The shower leaked onto the floor and it was a bit “dicey” to step in and out—some kind of bar to hold onto would help, and more towel hooks would be appreciated.
