Avon Terrace Guest House

The room was lovely, breakfast and coffee were good, and I could see a beautiful garden from the verandah bed; it was very comfortable and Paula and Stephen were welcoming. If you like character, this place is full of it—thanks Paula and Stephen for a lovely stay and for making us feel welcome. The only downside was that, aside from the beautiful town of York, there was only one place to have dinner because the other spots were closed on Monday and Tuesday; we were grateful for the Settlers Hotel.

The hosts were friendly, the room was beautifully presented, very clean and comfortable, and simply stunning, but our stay wasn’t long enough—definitely consider a second visit.

The place is definitely one of the best BnBs I’ve stayed in; Paula and Stefan make great hosts and the house is stunning. Nothing to complain about.

The house feels super warm and lovely, and it’s amazingly clean. Steven and Paula are very friendly and hospitable, and the breakfast is really good—everything is more than perfect. No negatives.
