The mattress was good and the place was central, but the room is tiny and the walls were very dirty, with large stains and remnants of dead mosquitoes with blood on them, giving a bad impression and feeling a bit claustrophobic.

A magnificent hostel to rest in. Nothing to complain about.

Teniamos ventana en la habitación al exterior. Los colchones están vencidos, imposible buen descanso, el plato de ducha resbala, el aire acondicionado no enfriaba como debiese con las temperaturas que hicieron, muchísimas escaleras para llegar hasta la habitaciones,olor a humedad insoportable en la entrada, las habitaciones necesitan una reparación, paredes, techo, etc. El mando del televisor no funcionaba

A very cheap option for exploring Alcossebre and Peñíscola, the double room comes with air conditioning and a mini‑fridge, and for €44 a night it’s great. Cleaning was adequate. The building has no elevator and the rooms feel like they’re on the second floor. Alcalà de Xivert is mainly a base for visiting the area and sleeping; the town itself didn’t interest me.
