“Ich würde nicht mehr dort übernachten.”

Breakfast and dinner were good, the room was large and clean. The hotel is run solely by the owner, so there is no staff; the breakfast room doubled as an office and workspace. The breakfast rolls were reheated and visibly old, and we could only pay in cash, which felt too expensive for what was offered. The photos of the property on Booking were doctored.

überaus reichliches Frühstück, inhaltlich ausgezeichnet, Man konnte jederzeit etwas ohne Aufpreis nachhaben, z.B. einen 2. Cappuccino. das Hotel/Gasthof wirkt von außen so als ob es geschlossen ist. Davon darf man sich nicht abschrecken lassen. Einfach rein gehen

“Tolles Hotel mit sehr nettem Inhaber”

We spent a few gorgeous days at Gasthaus Stegweber in Bad Schwanberg and felt right at home from the moment we walked in. The star of the show was the chef, Thomas – warm, attentive, and always cracking a joke. He cooked a top‑tier five‑course dinner for us and our friends that left no one wanting more, and the breakfasts were a daily treat with fresh breads, crisp rolls, fine cheeses, and a spread of tasty goodies. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and can’t wait to return.
