“Had to argue to even get a room even after I emailed them I would be arriving late. Facilities at super 8 were ok. Lots”

I let the place know I'd be arriving around 1 am, but when we got there the doors were locked. A quick call got me a curt reply that I was “too late,” even though I’d already paid. The guy was annoyed and told us to swing by the nearby Super 8, where he just handed over a key with no paperwork – weird, but at least we got a room.

“never again using”

I booked the Sundown motel after getting an email promising a guaranteed room, but when I called the morning of our trip I was told someone would call back – and that call never came. Since we live three hours away, we decided to cancel, only to have the motel refuse any refund. I offered to take a penalty just to get something back, but I’ve heard nothing since.
