The place offered great value, sits close to the city center and boat docks yet on a quiet street away from main traffic. The staff were super friendly and always eager to help with trip logistics, including laundry and boat or transport bookings. Rooms had AC, and breakfast was varied and plentiful.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Snehatheeram Homestay in Alleppey; the room was clean and comfortable, and hosts Ms. Binu and Mr. George were warm, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel at home with genuine kindness. Breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day. The homestay’s central location near the boat jetty made accessing backwater cruises and exploring easy. Their care and thoughtfulness throughout the stay were truly appreciated, and we highly recommend Snehatheeram Homestay to anyone visiting Alleppey who wants comfort, convenience, and wonderful hosts.

Binu and her family were amazing hosts; we felt at home and had a fantastic time. The room was comfortable and very clean, and breakfast was more than enough for any large eater. She assisted with train ticket bookings and laundry, and we would recommend this homestay to anyone.

I came to Alappuzha for the boat race and found Snehatheeram Homestay right next to the DTPC office and close to the “Rose Corner” seats I’d booked. The hosts were extremely welcoming and served tasty breakfast. The place was tidy and the room was well kept, so I’d definitely suggest it to other Aleppey visitors. However, unlike typical hotels that clean rooms while guests are away, this homestay didn’t, and since it was my first homestay experience I’m not sure if that’s standard practice.

Una familia maravillosa! Antes de llegar ya nos ayudaron comprandonos unos billetes de tren que nosotros no podíamos reservar. La casa preciosa. La habitación limpísima. El colchón muy cómodo. Desayuno excelente. Nos reservaron un tour por los canales inolvidable. Y por último nos reservaron un tuc tuc para llegar al tren. Ubicación excelente cerca de la estación de bus y de donde salen los botes para recorrer los canales. Mil gracias!!!
