Matera has a magical atmosphere, and I’m truly grateful that we could spend even one night there. The host was very kind and helpful. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and homely. Waking up in Matera, seeing the sunrise rays slip between the houses was simply wonderful. Breakfast was simple but tasty, home‑style, and the coffee was freshly brewed to order (nero, cappuccino, latte). If we ever return to Matera, we’d definitely stay here again. Thank you!

The place was lovely inside the old Matera, we stayed in a nice room that was clean, comfortable, and had a balcony with a beautiful view of the city; we loved it.

“Mooie locatie in het oude gedeelte”

I stayed in the old part of Mater (Sissi) and the new part gives a good approach to the old area. In the evening, a lot of youth hung around the accommodation and even on the stairs leading into the cottage, which caused a lot of noise from below my balcony. It’s a pity, but for the location I think I’ll come back again!

This B&B sits right in the heart of Matera’s Sassi. The place is clean, fragrant, and fully equipped, and from our deluxe room you get three breathtaking views of the Sassi. The value for money is unbeatable. If I ever return to Matera, I would choose this without hesitation. Top!
